NOTICE! This is a mod for the "Independent Architecture" DAT mod. This mod does nothing for AoE2 itself. You need the "Independent Architecture" DAT mod to see an effect. Make sure this mod has a higher priority tha Independent Architecture DAT Mod as well.

Using this with the "Independent Architecture" DAT mod, this changes the Spanish Architecture from the Western Europe set to the Mediterranean set. With the DAT mod, this only affects the Spanish and not the other Western Europe Civilizations, such as the Franks.

Thank you for your amazing work. Please, would it be possible to change the Goths from the northern european set to the mediterranean set? It would be amazing! As the Goths were at the time settled in the Balkans, Italy and Spain, I think it suits them better :)

I love it!! If only the wonder looked a bit more similar (or the other way around..). That would simply be perfect. But this is awesome already!

It's amazing and it makes total sense, especially next to the Portuguese. The only nitpick I have is that the garrison flag for the Monastary is off and floats in space.

You live in Spain? No. So, don't say it doesn't has to do with medieval Spain (Crown of Castille or Aragon), it is more correct this style than by default. Search "Besalú" in Google for example.

The creator of the Italian buildings mod, Catbarf, has already talked to Saint_Michaels. He said he wants to support the Independent architecture. So we just have to wait.

This architecture has nothing to do with medieval Spain. I see this mod collection includes the "aragonese architecture" which is far, far more accurate. Even the default Spanish one is more accurate.

Well it does actually, but the main mod is a DAT mod, so it's rather clumbersome to use online. Compared to Architecture DAT mods from the past, I tried to make this mod, which I mean the core Independent Architecture mod, as convient & user friendly as physically possible given the limitations.
