To the kids who keep uploading nerfed/edited versions of this addon: durgz_roleplay exists for a reason; utilise it. Not entirely happy with our ConVar? Talk to cleveland steamer, his actual name, since Steam mods be racist.

Tried and true—the premier Garry's Mod drugs addon DurgzMod is back! Now updated to the brand-spanking new v3.0 revision, with new additions and some revamped classics! There are bound to be some bugs with this update, so please let me know what's wrong with it, should you encounter any trouble :)

Our addon does not promote or glamorize the use of illicit substances; it is intended as an educational tool, with intention to teach that drugs have consequences. These entities will impair the player, and prove fatal in excess, more so than they do to provide any practical in-game benefit! Please do not approach drugs in real-life as if they are some kind of toy!!

Don't become another statistic. Your life is valuable, and always think of your loved ones!

You mean Europol put a man in prison who used to hand money out to people who got screwed over? They probably wanted to keep it all for themselves! As shown through the statement made with Operation Cyberpunk 2077, they see the livelihoods of living people as little more than a game to line their pockets up with!! The crime rate skyrockeded because LE forced "all the undesirables" to the streets that night!!! Great way to protect and serve, boys. :yes:, there was a bug with durgz_meth (in theory anyway, since i never actually tested in multiplayer) wherein the draining effect would be canceled by another player using the drug due to sharing same identifier for timer...this has been corrected, and i've even eliminated the hook into GM:Think() to reset defaults; this is now handled in the timer, should prove to be more optimized :)

it's not too beefy, there could be optimizations made by not sorting players table every server tick, which is done to check progress of high on each player (so we can reset to defaults)...however, this is how it's been done since 2008, it hasn't proven to be too expensive on resources

Ah okay, and oof, wished more mods would optimize out there, with alot of mods and not everyone ability to have great pcs itd be awesome, but i understand it may be hard and crap. oof:(

it could be better, the codebase is rather dated, and i'm not the most experienced lua coder myself
