Greetings, Guv here.

NOT HISTORICALLY ACCURATE. STOP TELLING ME.

This is my first mod on Shogun 2.

This removes the Katanas on Spear infantry, as they will never use them.
And i find it fitting to do that on Yari Ashigaru so i've changed so they use their yari's in combat.

[EDIT 2018-08-19]

I am back with a new update after 3 years of abandonment. I've decided to remove the FOTS variant in favour of having the complete pack here. Here's the new changes:

- removed swords and added yari animations for the Yari FOTS units. Very requested.
- removed swords from yari cavalry units.
- fixed a bug when playing with Monks, crash to desktop (hopefully fixed)

For modders, the packname is "Sengoku_Yari.pack"

great mod, but a reskin mod's ashigaru equipment is changed, how can i change it back, i use rpfm, but i know nothing about those tables

Neither FOTS nor ROTS works. Tried adjusting the mod's launch order, but it doesn't seem to help either. Just tested them separately, and only ROTS works properly.

Well, since it changes the variantmesh, above reskins. But it would be incompatiable with reskins.

really silly question, units in this game are all sprites right? so this will conflict with mods that change their clothes?
