SmartBMS V1.0

SmartBMS is an intelligent micro-controller created to simplify your battery management when paired with a 1x1 Monitor.


Features:

Smart Battery Level Meter: The bar graphic provides clear visual feedback on the battery level: Red (0% - 25%); Yellow (26% - 75%); Green: (76% - 100%).

Low Battery Warning: The screen provides a high-contrast full screen Flashing Red warning when the battery level drops to 10% or below.

Persistent Charging Indicator: When battery charging is active, the battery level bar flashes Blue to indicate charging is in progress.

Active Charging Icon: A White flashing 'Up' arrow is displayed in the top-center of the display to further indicate charge is in progress.


Technical Developments:

Balanced Flash Timing: The charging indicator flashes with perfectly equal ON and OFF durations for a smooth, balanced visual effect making this accesible for all.

High Repetition Count: The 2.0s cycle time within the 42.0s persistance buffer provides 21 full repetitions of the balanced flash.

Startup Delay: Includes a 20.0s stabilization delay on startup to prevent the monitor from immediately firing a false positive flash when the micro-controller is powered on.

Guaranteed Persistence: The detection logic is streamlined to ensure the timer runs to completion, stopping only if the battery reaches 100%. This eliminates premature cutoff caused by minor fluctuations in charging speed.

Setup Guide:
Step 1. Build yourself a test platform with enough space to lay out the equipment listed above.
Step 2. Lay out the equipment with adequate space between them to make cable managemenet easier.
