SH Dugong

A fully automated, fuel-efficient, high-safety version of the vanilla Dugong.
All systems use FPGA components for stable, predictable logic while keeping the submarine balanced for campaign play.

⚙️ Automatic Reactor System (THE ARC)
-Automatically adjusts power output after reactor or talent upgrades.
-Overheat protection: Shuts down at high temperature to prevent fire/meltdown. Remains off until temp drops below 5000°C for manual restart.
-Integrated temperature-based fission regulator for stable operation.
-Wireless fuel alert: Sends fuel percentage to chat when below 10%.
-15% overclock for improved propulsion performance.
-Automatically enables batteries to buffer power when load exceeds generation.
-Safe to fully load with any 4 fuel rods — auto-shutdown prevents mishaps.

🔋 Battery System
- Uses step-charging logic based on throttle position for optimal load management.
- Beta Surge Protection System captures sudden voltage spikes and stores the excess power in the batteries instead of letting it hit the main grid.
- Excess-power overflow handling:
If the batteries reach over 75% charge, any additional stored surge energy must be released.
To safely push this power back into the main grid, the system undervolts the reactor by 30%, reducing its output just enough to let the excess battery power flow into the grid smoothly.
This keeps the electrical system stable while preventing both overcharge and unnecessary reactor load.

🫧 Oxygen System Optimization
- Dynamic O2 generation: Only activates when room oxygen drops below 51% (vented rooms only).
- Reduces power draw by ~1000 kW, improving fuel efficiency.
- Powered via batteries to avoid sudden grid spikes.
- Manual override: The "O2 Start" button runs the generator for 65 seconds — enough to fill 50% of a masterwork-quality empty O₂ tank.

🔫 Turret Upgrades
- All turrets have aim assist for easier use by low-skill crew.
- Turret lights changed to orange for improved visibility of small or fast-moving targets.

🌀 Discharge Coil Automation
- Fires automatically every 1.5 seconds when an enemy is in range.
- Will not fire if both enemies and friendlies are in range — safety first!

🚪 Top Airlock
- Equipped with a depth display screen showing current depth in meters.

🧭 Navigation Terminal Enhancements
- Button 1 — Rapid Dive Airlock Control
Pressing the first button opens the top airlock to flood the compartment for 3 seconds.
This allows the submarine to gain negative buoyancy faster, enabling quicker emergency dives or depth adjustments.

- Button 2 — Movement Neutralizer
Instantly resets both horizontal and vertical movement sliders back to perfect center (neutral).
