Expand Hegemony

描述
This mod adds a decision to expand the de jure of your hegemony to any new empire titles you hold, that way your de jure hegemony can expand across the map.

I have not seen anyone else do this type of thing before with titles before so I figured I would make a mod for it. This is meant to compliment my other mod, Found Custom Hegemony which can be found on Paradox Mods and Steam Workshop.

In order to see the decision, you have to hold a hegemony title and you have to hold an empire that is not already a de jure of another hegemony. (So it is not broken, it just takes a little bit to appear).

Let me know if you have any comments, suggestions, or bugs that you find and enjoy the mod!

NOTE: This is only localized in English as I do not know other languages, sorry.

If you feel as if the North Sea could be improved as a titular hegemony instead of an empire then check out Renown's mod at this link: https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3604709380

Cool mod!
Can you considering adding some things to the description (based on a quick search of the code), since I was going to ask, so others might too!:

1) You must be an administrative-enabled ruler (never mind, I read is_landed_or_landless_administrative trigger wrong :P)

2) The new empire title can't be integrated if it's already under another hegemon

3) Decision only appears if you have a valid empire to integrate

Ohh so my translation was correct and yours just speeds it up? still a valuable bonus - though I'll edit my mod description accordingly.

As to the other stuff, I'll friend you and we can discuss

Crazy to see @Renown in two back-to-back mods, lol. I was just looking at his awesome mod.

@Renown Hey, thank you so much for checking out this mod and adding a link to it on your page.

I have to be honest here, there is de jure drift that Paradox added in an update. I think it was added a few days before I published this mod. However, much like with kingdoms and empires, it takes hundreds of years to switch to your de jure hegemony which is why I really wanted to make this mod.

As for your mod, I really like the concept. The fact that the North Sea is less of an empire and more of an unstable realm is something I had planned to do myself but did not know how to go about it. I REALLY like the way you did it in your mod. If you want, we can work together on some other ideas for existing empires that should be hegemonies, if you are interested anyway.

I will be linking your mod on this page as well so that people who find my mod can check that one out as well.

Again, thank you so much for the support.

I'll be honest, I actually assumed this was already in the game by default.

I haven't really played with hegemonies despite making my own mod on one (North Sea). I assumed Hegemonies and de_jure drift worked the same way re: kingdoms & empires.

Which meant, for my mod - considering I ripped the empire out of the decision entirely - has no de jure drift possible AT ALL (via creating empires, and then having kingdom-empire-hegemony drift).

I'm definitely going to link this in my mod, so folks who want this possible drift can download this.

Butttt on the flip side, it actually makes Hegemonies function different from Empires by default which opens up interesting story-telling mechanics re: Hegemonies.

I.e. in my North Sea Hegemony mod, it actually does make the North Sea less of a straight up win button (I think the NSE is too easy to hold onto when you get it... ) by more than I had intended.

Great stuff man.
