Amphiuma Means

Amphiuma means, the two-toed amphiuma, is a salamander belonging to family Amphiumidae. It is the longest of the three amphiuma species, reaching an upwards of almost 1.2 meters of length.

The sequel to Amphiuma Tridactylum, originally this was going to feature three base-game puzzles remade around Schrödinger's cubes as well: sp_a2_laser_stairs, room 2 of mp_coop_laser_1 and mp_coop_tripleaxis. I wasn't satisfied with the first two however, and I was running into a heavy disparity between them and Triple Axis both visual and puzzle-wise, which eventually led to the decision to scrap them being made, leaving only the third puzzle, a remake of Triple Axis.

For this map, I wanted to do something similiar to the post-Wheatley setting seen in Proteus Anguinus, but with more destruction. Slight art therapy inspiration also ended up sneaking in along the way, which is fitting I suppose since the original Triple Axis is set in that style. I also made more tweaks to my E3-inspired assets, with the most notable being decreasing reflection intensity on metal tiles.
