solid 8.5/10 map
I suck at video games, this much is true, but after 8 attempts I couldn't get further than killing more than 20 zombies before the cold got me or the fire went out. Too difficult imo.
Custom Units: 2
The zombies are hilarious, very Rick and Morty of you. However, I felt like I was just dealing with the same reskinned unit with slight colour variations.
Thumbnail: 2
Very nice and stylistic thumbnail. Does the job well.
Fun Factor: 1
It was fun and it wasn't, I'm going to give it a 1 because although I kept coming back to try again which is a good sign, the lack of an end game and the difficulty sort of sucked the fun out of it after a while.
Total: 12/22
An endless tundra dotted with points of interest, a simple but effective set up. However, it needed more misc environmental objects imo, lots of trees sure, but no shrubs or rocks or anything to break apart the monotony.
Technical Design: 4
Certainly has a lot going for it, but its also obvious this map needed more time in the oven. Keeping the fire going and having to collect wood is a novel idea, but I struggled to really explore the map and indeed struggled to keep the fire going when just farming the nearby areas. I feel it needs to be more forgiving in this regard, lengthen the timers a little; feels like one of these cases where the author thinks its too easy because they understand exactly all the mechanics at play, but a guy just loading it up for the first time is going to get their balls crushed.
