Since entering service under the Holy Incarri Empire, the Aegis has been leading the charge in countless ground assaults. It was designed by Incarri engineers with the goal of creating a personnel transport craft capable of invading enemy territory while providing enough protection for its crew to establish a foothold.

Siege clamps on the side of the craft allow the Aegis to successfully land and deploy its passengers on virtually any terrain, while its massive roof turret allows the Aegis to take out enemy defenses and artillery or to simply provide cover fire for the troops it carries.

It most notably proved its worth in the decade-long siege of Darciil which ended when Incarri ground forces, aided by the Aegis, stormed the heavily fortified battlements and succeeded in destroying their enemies' artillery while under heavy fire.
