Note that the new version of this map is "rp_downtown_v4c_thehighway" and without the "_v2"!
A new christmas version of the new version of downtown finally out after tons of hard work and problem fixing! It took about a month to make this map officially finished. As it is almost christmas, I thought it would be nice to make a cozy winter version of the regular popular rp map. The map is just a christmas version of the regular "rp_downtown_v4c_v2", so there aren't many changes, the only major change is a small, new and modern apartment next to spawn.

"TheHighWay" COMMUNITY SCAM:
Currently, (2014-12-16) there is a community/person that tries to take credit for this map and they named themselves "TheHighWay". I have joined and tried to talk to the admin but he seems like he is 12 years old and he can barely speak English. Don't join the community's servers due to their scamming attitude and childish behaviors, thanks!.

I used some custom textures and models, that is there reason the map-size is a bit larger than normal. Making this map was a long road, but I am really proud of it so share some love and try it out!

NEW:

HOW TO SEE TEXTURES ON THE MAP:

1. Get Counter Strike Source Content.
2. Start the Map, and have Fun.

The rooms are so bright the lighting is a bit different now how can I fix?

yung riff, go to your Garry's Mod folder and right click hl2. Set the compatibility options to Windows 7. I don't know why or how but it fixed my problem.

Everytime I try to join this map, I get the Lua panic error, even when I can join (which is for thirty seconds or less) The fps stutters constantly from 200 to about 20 for a second or two. This is the only map I have trouble with and all my friends can join the server fine, All my drives have space and I have 32 gigs of RAM installed, 6GB GTX 1060 and should be running fine.
