US Loc | Siemens ACS-64

Siemens Amtrak City Sprint Class ACS64 Electric Locomotives, are locomotives designed by Siemens for use on the Northeast Corridor in the United States. They are related in design to the Eurosprinter & Vectron locomotives but adapted to North American rail and regulations. Amtrak was the original buyer, purchasing 70 locomotives to replace their AEM-7s and HHP-8s. SEPTA followed with an order of 13 (raising to 15) locomotives to run on their regional rail network.
