This is a serious bug and I hope that it'll get fixed in 42. From what I suspect, it's the innate "decay" effect of the virus that does not get reset before we get scratched/slied/bitten. Knowing that this effect is more and more powerful over time, it makes sense that a single tick of it instantly kills us after several weeks/months of gameplay.
I have tried and my game is often crashin at the start or laggin in the game. There seems to be a conflict between these two but I cant point my finger at what and why.
thanks i will test it with the newest B42 update and patch it accordingly
thanks for telling me
Probably you should check it yourself, but seems like it does not work at B42 at all.
i haven't tested it with the newest unstable version yet, but the safest way to know if its doing what its doing would be to start the game as debug and give your self a lot of scratches, and then give yourself a bite
if in the character debug window it says fake infected, then it works as intended :)
I got two scratches, which should not be lethal at all, and for 3 days have been guessing is this mod's regular behaviour or am I really infected.
Last 10 mins of gameplay I was fighting just for the sake of knowing if it is Z or smoething else.
Great mod! Yet I still have to discover if it works as intended.
