Snowbound beta v 1.0 (WIP)

A remake of the map snowbound from halo 3

ENSURE HDR IS ON AND MSAA IS ON OR SOME THINGS WONT LOOK RIGHT

Almost one to one, fully scale accurate.

Full custom soundscapes.

This map is 95% complete so I figured Id release it not quite finished because I don't have too much time to work on it.

There are a few lighting issues and minor things here and there that I will get around to fixing eventually....

Report any bugs/issues you find in comments or discussions.

-IF you play LDR the snow will look too bright, I will fix this eventually.

-The cave entrances look like crap I know, they are just place holder till I can find a way to blend them better

Anything placed on the ground is raised an inch. Also do you take requests? If so I'd love to see the Halo Reach firefight map Corvette, if not that's perfectly fine!

I really enjoy the aesthetic of your map and appreciate the Halo 3 inspiration behind it. I was wondering if you'd consider expanding it into more of a Covenant roleplay base. I’d love to see more Covenant-themed architecture and design elements integrated—perhaps to make it feel like a fully developed Covenant outpost or installation. The current layout is great, and with some expansions, it could be a perfect RP environment while still preserving its original atmosphere.

Just a reminder that gmod still has millions of maps that people want

Its been out this long, and the three halo maps you've made top everything else.

I'm thinking about filling the gap in space travel and extra-terrestrial planets. Maybe the surface of a star, a black hole, things like that.
