[Map] Sahara Huge - Egypt TSL

A huge 8-player real world map of the Sahara Desert, the Nile river, the Mediterranean & Red seas, the Levant, the Arab peninsula, the Atlas mountains and Gibraltar. (Previously "[Map] North Africa for Humankind").

It has geographically accurate landform and elevation (courtesy of the heightmap import tool) and researched real resource deposits of Arab oil, Egyptian papyrus and Kushite gold. (However, this may come at the expense of game balance).

This North Africa region is home to a number of HUMANKIND Cultures including: the Assyrians, Egyptians, Mycenaeans, Hittites, Nubians, Phoenicians, Aksumites, Garamantes, Carthaginians, Umayyads, Persians, the Byzantines, the Spanish, the Ottoman and Turk empires, Ethiopia and Nigeria.

• The map is non-wrapping.
  
• Coral Reef and Hydrothermal Vents have been removed due to bug in current Map Editor (v.1.0.7.1764) that throws validation errors.
