[777] Favourites!

描述
Updated to work for 1.4. I'm not planning to add any features.

Original description

A simple quality of life mod that allows you to mark items as Favourites!

No more accidentally selling or smelting items you don't want to lose!

Favourited items are highlighted in the Trading and Caravan menus, on the map and in inventories. Smelt/destroy weapon and apparel bills also ignore favourited items by default - recycling bills too if using MendAndRecycle or Simple Recycling.

You can favourite and unfavourite items by clicking on them, and then left clicking "Favourite". Masterwork and Legendary quality items produced by your colonists, and quest rewards (except raw resources), are also automatically favourited.

It is also possible to mark items you don't want as Junk, these will also be highlighted. Items don't get automatically marked as junk.

The colour of the favourited star and junk bin overlays can be changed by right clicking the Favourite or Junk button and selecting your colour of choice

Ah, thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely be trying that too!

@Babaloo321: I thought it would be a much simpler solution, but when I looked into it, I only found a rather crude one. So I wouldn't be uploading it, at least for now. Maybe someone more familiar with the game code will point me to a simpler, more elegant solution.

For now, I recommend trying Pawn Gizmo Hider mod. Should do the trick. I plan to try it myself next time I play.

Could you maybe add a setting to allow us to disable the Favourite and Junk toggle boxes from appearing in the bottom menu when selecting a pawn? I never use it on them, and it kind of contributes to clutter while using other mods that add boxes to that menu.

Could we get fave/junk added to the order menu so we can mark groups of things easily, like we can with Allow, or Chop Wood, please?

If it comes to that, I would like to see a setting that will disable the display of these tags in the pawn menu.

晓山alreShan: This is actually a good idea. I will think about implementing it next time I play.

@SERGIUS777
I wonder if you can add a mark items option as "to sell". If possible please? :)
Because after raid, I get weapons and apparels which I don't need, but I don't want to mark them as junk. Because they will get recycle as my bill set to recycle everything marked junk. I want to sell them.
And I want to keep those "to sell" items at same place, to form caravan faster.

@toetruckthetrain: Well, without being able to reproduce this, I can't do much. And if you're using other mods, it could be any number of weird interactions with them. In any case, with all three (favourite/unfavourite/junk) checked, a stockpile zone should accept everything (if other conditions are met, obviously).

well what happened was for some reason my fridge stockpile zone wasnt getting animal carcasses hauled to it suddenly, but the smaller corpses were still getting put in the shelves, i spent like an hour figuring this out after i noticed (which was like an in-game year into the problem) and eventually found out that unticking allowing favorites and junk worked, despite unfavorited already being ticked, again weirdly enough it only happened with that one stockpile zone and other zones had things hauled to them all the time

@toetruckthetrain: Just tested filtering, and it seems to work as intended. And to be honest, I'm not sure if I fully understand what you wrote. Maybe if you provide me with step-by-step instructions or a simple example so I can check.
