Being engaged in the consistent updating of its fleet, the Consolidation considered it ineffective to use the ANT series ships for local space cargo transportation and therefore began to develop and further produce new-generation HM ships. The successor of the HM-302, the first model, named as HM-402 began to perform various tasks, from helping to unload heavy-duty ships to suborbital transportation.
Thanks to the thrusters hybrid system, this ship can be effectively used both in gravity and in space and the presence of ion accelerators allows you to save on fuel. Due to 4 hydrogen engines and a group of batteries, you can not to worry about a lack of power on board, and the presence of two turrets will be very useful in regions with increased pirates activity. Thanks to the independent conveyor systems, the front connector can be used to move cargo, while the upper one can serve as a mounting point for the upper warp module (Coming soon) so it's for refueling the ship itself.
This ship is well suited for small companies engaged in the field of trade, transportation or mining.

*- Be careful when connecting containers. If you plan to use the front connector for transporting cargo to the ship, it is worth considering that to connect containers, you need to install them sequentially one after another, depending on their type (a cargo container can only go after a cargo one, a fuel one only after a fuel container, etc). In this case, it is necessary to start installing containers from R3/L3 (front connectors).

** - This ship can land on planets with containers, but it must be taken into account that the filling of containers in this case must be calculated based on the mass of its cargo. I can't guarantee that this ship will be able to land (and not crash!) with containers completely filled with uranium.

For landing gears please, use the button (no. 9) in the cockpit or you can accidentally release the connected containers.

DLC Wasteland needs only for block skin and can be optional

Oh, it could be caused by subgrids I believe. Try to reattach cargo containers, that should help

I seem to have an issue where the ship is trying to auto-level itself in space, causing the nose to 'rubber band' whenever I move it. I don't know if it is just something weird on my end or the ship. Any help would be appreciated!

Dasch_Modding, yeah it's a bit difficult sometimes with tug ship, try to use piston with magnet pad instead, works for me

Dots, this ship was not designed with PAM/AI in mind, the upcoming models will be more automation friendly (if you want details, you can check out the OPC discord server [discord.gg]).
Regarding oxygen and fuel - the ship is designed to work with existing infrastructure in mind (as hinted at by lore). If you need a ship that can not only carry cargo but also process ore/ice, then I can suggest Wanderer .

Hey , um if people plan to use SAM/pam this ship has a design flaw. No downwards HYDROGEN thrusters (so the scripts will spin it and flip it on its upside down) and if you print it on planet well.. good luck fueling it up because even if you put ice in it there's no h2/o2 generator so basically you suffocate inside it while in space or on non breathable atmos planets like Mars

love your builds and finally started a save to start building your ships. I decided to start with this one for my hauler. Is there a secret to installing the containers in atmosphere? I built your atmo tug as well to try and place them and its impossible for me, so just wondering what others are doing?

Foltast, I love your ships and I wish I could use them, it's just that you use the DLC which i don't have so I can't use the ship(very well).
