Azure Sheep: Part One EXTENDED

描述
Today we are proud to release the new, better version of the mod. Our team put all their skills and effort to make your experience a lot better and more interesting. Also we are really grateful to Cyvo, who breathed a new life in it with his expansions.

What's new: scripts, soundtrack, models, dialogues, cutscenes(!) and a new chapter where you will revisit the familiar places.

Installation method:
*It is recommended for you to delete the previously existing asheep folder from the Black Mesa root directory*
INSTALL:
1. Download the mod;
2. Go to: D*\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\2288016896
3. Unpack the ASBuild.7z
4. Move the asheep directory and the .bat + .sh files into your Black Mesa root directory (*\steamapps\common\Black Mesa);
LAUNCHING VIA BROWSER
1. Windows users: Launch the mod via one of the .bat files (asheep.bat for the new UI, asheep_oldUI.bat for the old UI).
2. Linux users: Launch the mod via one of the .sh scripts (asheep.sh for the new UI, asheep_oldUI.sh for the old UI).
LAUNCHING VIA STEAM
1. Right click on Black Mesa in your Steam Library
2. Go to: Properties and select "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS"
3. In the command line enter: -game asheep (-game asheep -oldgameui (if you want to use the old UI))

Critical errors
Recent testing of the mod on the latest BM public beta revealed a number of errors that lead to a crash to the desktop. Those errors do not reoccur, and after loading an autosave, you can continue playing.

Crashes on as_c3map01 and as_c5map03 map load.
To evade this you should lower Texture Quality. If it didn’t help – wait for fix release.

General recommendations to avoid problems

Do not try to set max quality on the options related to the following:
- Filtering;
- Dynamic Shadows (e.g Sun Shadows);
- Dynamic Light;

Recommended level of graphics: High.
This mod could conflict with the dynamic light/shadows on the new 1.5 public beta, and with the new Xen effects.

Other mods and addons
We recommend you to delete all previously installed mods/addons, which weren’t tested on the 1.5 public beta.

P.S. Please note that this mod was made to work on the latest public beta, but it is also possible to play it on the non-beta game. After the mod’s release we will look into your new reviews and comments and find new errors and problems which we will try to fix in the near future.

it seems like setting black mesa to a branch that's older than the current main branch version of the game fixes it. i set the game to the black-mesa-definitive-edition branch and i am no longer having any problems loading saves at all

To avoid crashes when restarting or resuming the game, you can save and load the game on the second map in each chapter. For example: as_c2map02, as_c3map02, as_c4map02, etc.

absolute cinema, so far i thought Black Mesa: Blue Shift is the best remake i played, but well, this mod moves BM:BS to second place

I canceled and deleted the game because it had such a serious bug that it was unplayable. If you save from the beginning (including automatic, quick, and manual saves) and then load, the game crashes. This means you have to reach the ending without dying once from the start, but that's impossible, so I'm deleting it. This is so severe that the game is completely unplayable. At this point, it's the worst game ever, just taking up hard drive space. I'd better delete the file from the Workshop.

I am experiencing persistent crashes in certain sections.
The same thing happens if restart the game.
This part needs an update.

FYI: For whoever this helps, I've been able to avoid having the game crash when loading a save by loading MANUAL saves only. Autosave and quicksave will not work. Only manual save
