描述
To give more variety to the special infected, I put together this v-pack with the original spitter model/skin plus some models/skins from workshop (and some personal ones too).

IMPORTANT: If you experience crashes, try running the game with Paged Pool Memory on medium or low.

This uses a modified VScript made by RF to randomize the models, also each model uses skinfamilies to have more variants. Big thanks to Rise for the skinfamilies idea.

Features:
- 4 models with it's own set of skins (see credits):
-- Default Spitter (12 normal skins)
-- Black Friday Spitter (4 normal skins)
-- Concept Spitter (3 normal skin)
-- L4D1 Spitter (3 normal skins)
- Matching corpses
- Default spitter skin can still be reskined because it uses default texture paths (only reskins, True or Real RNG too)
- Concept Spitter uses beta styled animations!

Online not supported
Works best in single player (and localhost)
Fps arms not included

DISCLAIMER: Most of these skins are not mine. If any of the authors want their skin/model removed from the pack, I will remove them as soon as possible.

The mod causes the game to crash when starting a campaign; please update it. I really liked that mod when it still worked.

yes agreed. when i use every other variety pack besides the spitter on top of my other mods, no crash. as soon as i add the spitter, killing her sometimes makes a crash. i feel like it might be the animations but i could be wrong, but regardless this is the only pack that makes me crash. i've been using all 10 other packs for a few weeks with no issues.

I agree this is the only variety pack that causes crashes, I can have so much more installed but having this spitter RNG pack crashes, it should be worth looking into

It happens if you have too many rng mods.
It exceeds the game's memory limit and crashed.
You can lower the Paged Pool Memory to medium or low.

However I can still run all the packs + other rng mods together without problems. But maybe you have too many.

does anyone know why this mod in particular out of ALL of the variety mods would cause persistent crashing?

maybe upload them as seperate mods and put links for the updated versions in the discription of the old versions so people know about it?
might be more tedious to do so but i think thats a reasonable way of doing it without causing trouble for the people who subbed to the old versions

again, i'd greatly appreciate it if you did that :steamthumbsup:
