What about that post? "Do you always react to criticism like that?" Where did you get that idea? he made a very normal response that had no offense whatsoever. Now you are stating that your ideas and suggestions are not welcome.. when all he did was answer why your suggestions are not possible.
It's either im not understanding what you're talking about or you are not understanding us.. since im not a native english speaker.
You got defensive when I made the suggestion about painting, just look at your reply (with key parts underlined):

And nah, I'm not flaming. I'm being outright rational here. You, on the other hand, are using logical fallacies to invalidate my arguments. Use real arguments, if you really want to discuss.
