描述

So I decided to make this little In-Game Player that you can place your MP3 Files into.

To use the player either type mp3 into the console or bind a key to +mp3

To add your music to the mod, Go into the sound folder and make a new folder called "songs" and place your mp3 files inside you would find it where you installed steam, in most cases its:

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\<username>\garrysmod\garrysmod

This will be different if you own a 32 bit operating system or if you didnt install steam to your C:\ Drive

#note: im not sure what it is but something in mp3 filenames stops them from being played, ive narrowed it down to the AND symbol ( & ) the APOSTROPHE ( ' ) or simply more then one fullstop in the file name ( . )

I've noticed it doesn't work with WMA files, and also if the song is too long (possibly over 20 minutes) it will show in the menu but doesn't appear to play the music if you click on it.

I don't think this is still being worked on, but a loop option would have been awesome!

Well ♥♥♥♥ you garry, because i have about 60 things that look like "Waltz in C-sharp minor, Op. 64 No. 2 CHOPIN. " so i just took 20 minutes renaming all of them

Can you make it so the music player doesn't stop ounce the map resets it's annoying.

Yeh it works go into C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\garrysmod\garrysmod and add sound folder yourself and songs folder in it thx RadishDash

I don't have the folder "sound"

i dont have a steam file in my program files (x86), i found one in my downloads. i found a sound file done all the crap i need to but the songs wont show up.
