I liked the nice story telling in comic style with great voice acting. There are some multiple choises like in visual novels, too. But there is also some beat'em'up kung fu action. And when figthing several enemies then it starts in hack'n'slay like top down view with some different fighting mechanics.
I have never played beat'em'up games much. So I played on easy setting and the game explaines the moves. It was fun to learn and part of the story. Therefore I gained more power by better control instead of stupid button bashing.
