alright here's my honest review of tf2 goldrush:

first impressions were better than i expected. game runs smoothly, looks good, no frame drops, just as well optimized as OG tf2. i will say i WAS having a few problems related to lag, but i blame it on the server hoster, not the mod.

the weapons feel great, nice to handle and even with 150+ ping, i still had a lot of fun and genuinely, i DO feel like i will return to this mod at some point in the near future.

this mod is the best possible way to experience tf2 in its prime and im glad people will finally get to know what it was like.

with THAT being said, of course you have the negatives. most of the servers seem to run alltalk on, which leads to both very funny server conversations, full of dumbass jokes and laughs, but it also leads to a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ talking mad trash. i myself am guilty of that since i, unfortunately, have a short temper. for future games of goldrush i will keep my text and voice keys unbinded (unbound? idk english sometimes.)

the server i played one had goldrush, arena, 2fort and so on and i DID have a lot of fun. i got my first item, customized my mercs, and had overall a great time.

goldrush might not be for everyone, but it is damn well worth a try.
