Im trying to mesa with gamę files

Yea ive been getting this error to,ive tried increased the settings on it,ive cleared the cache and ive restarted the server and gmod a few times im not sure what the problem is really and noone seemed to have figured out and it rather annoying seeing the endless download loop.....

i got rid of some spotify files and it worked but only for a couple weeks before it came back again. I deleted some other addons too but yet again, it came back. It never stops downloading and the ones with huge ass names take up my screen and i literally cannot play

This is apparently a huge issue with a lot of folks and there's still no fix on it, I can't find a solution either. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, it was working yesterday all day and now- even though nothing in my game has changed and nothing new has downloaded, it won't work. What has worked for you guys? Has anything worked?

You can try pressing resume in steam to also attempt fixing the infinite downloads ingame.

So nothing has changed, been having the same issue after clearing unsubbing/resubbing, clearing cache, and even removing it entirely from the addon folder. Kill me now.

This infinite Download Is driving me insane

Close steam, remove workshop folder in steam/steamapps and it should fix it. Nothing can be done on outfitter's side.

At long last the infamous bug can be fixed.

When you are getting the infinite download glitch, while still in play exit out of garrys mod (dont quit, just minimize). Go to your steam client, and hover over Library. You should see a little menu with three options. Press "downloads." Navigate to Garrys Mod and you see that "workshop content" is locked. This is our problem. Press the button at the far right with an arrow pointing up. Pressing the button unlocks the workshop content and when you click back on gmod, all your outfits should have downloaded. It is important to press the button on the far right, pressing the "Play" button on the left instead tries to launch gmod again.

While this does not permanently stop the infinite downloading glitch, it can be done every time it happens and will work all the time.
