BRS doesn't weld placed blocks.
Okay, so I built the BRS under the platform where I want to build ships. To test it, I placed a landing gear to start with and turned the system on, but nothing's happening.

What do I have to do to get it to weld the blocks I'm placing?

you need the materials to make it weld

Duh.

But I found the solution. Turn it off and on again (really, for every newly built BRS.)
