If you're starting at medieval or tribal tech levels, and going without electricity for awhile (like I have been on a recent save), it's a bit annoying that you aren't able to use hot water (besides in a tub) despite having access to a log boiler. It seems reasonable that you could build a tank for hot water prior to researching electricity. The other boilers that require electricity make sense, of course, but the tank itself seems reasonable to be learned along with the log boiler.
