Gun fizzles when dropped by combine
At the start of the game when you're meant to get the usp, instead of dropping from the combine, it fizzles and evaporates :(
is this intended or is it a bug or mod confilct?

This is not supposed to happen and with just Lambda I don't see this issue, try removing all addons except Lambda.

That may be because of a mod that disables enemies to drop their weapons. I know that one of the really popular mods makes the enemies guns act as if they've been hit with the ar2's alt fire.

I think it was a loot bodies mod

Yeah it was. Found out before seeing this reply but it was the better keep corpses mod. You have to turn on disable drop weapons then turn it off again or else it causes all nearby instances of the same weapon to also drop. I could be wrong but the setting seems to automatically enable itself once the mod is activated.
