Data chit?
I have like 6 data chits, but I dont know what to do with them. I read on the wiki that they are for upgrading the avali guns, but I cant see where to do that. Are they functional and Im just blind, or is upgrading not in yet?

It was once a feature. The dev team is planning to phase out data chits.

ok, thank you for the info :) (though the guns are REALLY weak right now, 9 dps? for durasteel?)

Well you can get Blizzard BE/HE Variants with Chits. Data Chits are also used for the Avali Elite Certificate (AEC). I've yet to obtain an AEC so I have no clue what it is.

The AEC basically only unlocks the crafting of the tier 3 Pilum. Probably going to remove it, as the weapon bench does not require knowing recipes.
