So, by using this mod you are replacing Origin code by Steam code and it is not going to work. Currently I don't see how to fix something like that.
In an ideal world, the Cities platform library (by game developers) would hide the differences between Origin and Steam, and mod developers could write platform-independent code. But that is maybe not going to happen.
I wish I hadn't purchased DLC's on Origin so I could just migrate to Steam version.
Oh well, not a biggie, I don't use lots of mods and assets so my loading times (as the game is installed on a SSD) is ok.
