I'm sure you've seen some cool ships where people have used partially-constructed blocks as decorations, and I'd like to do that, but if I have NCF installed, it will naturally construct those incomplete blocks as soon as it can.

Is there any way NCF could ignore certain blocks somehow?

The simplest solution I can think of, although I have no idea if it's even possible, is to have NCF ignore any blocks painted with a specific color, like HSV 320,0,0.
