I prefer when people know their work and not copy it from another person, without the backgrounds of processes (expecially for programming very important) and last problem is the missing proof for me.
Myself I prefer to not have to run 2 mods doing the same thing in order to not lose everything on the server, so I did the sensible thing and contacted the creator to find out if they would be willing to share the source so it could be updated.
After you've done this, you have the absolute same problem as switching to any other stack mod :)
By the way, I'm also working on a Stack Converter ^^
Unfortunately you are incorrect. I cooked and uploaded to workshop the version I am working on based upon Fennec's files, and I can go back and forth between the 2 with no issue... all my stacks remain, can be added to, transfered etc.. so once I'm finished, if people use it they will not lose anything.
But in the end, if it's working or not makes for me no difference, because I still prefer a Mod that is updated by the person who's completely made it, so i can be sure he know what he does.
Also my stack converter will help to not lose everything, so no reason for me to switch again and hoping your copy&paste will work properly ;-)
