do a roll back to a time before the update.
Look in Saved Arks for files "TheIsland_xxxxxxxxx.ark" the xxxx with be a date&time of the last backupsave. just rename the file to TheIsland.ark

if you have a custom map, just look for the files with your map name in it.

Same issue on our server except we cant place any of the structures now even though they are in our inventory.

when you can't place a structure, it usually means another mod or the server needs an update
