Cannot install this mod
When i download the mod and open ark after it's finished it will go to the title screen for a few seconds and crash. Heres the crash log:

This happens to me when trying the install building xtras and i have not found a way to fix that. I also have tryed restarting my pc then opening it, verifying files and restarting steam.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I'm not an expert on the error codes but it looks like its failing when it tried to copy the decompressed mod files to the correct directory. Could you possibly not have enough hd space? Running the game in administrator mode might be required as well. Other than that I can't see anything in the error report that would indicate what mod or file is causing the issue.

How would i run this game as administrator? i can run steam as admin but theres no option for me to run the game itself.

Found how to run it as admin like right after i posted this haha. still keeps crashing with the same problem. also it's not a problem with my hd as i still have 132gb left.

Is that error only happening with the building xtras mod? If the game is crashing before it finishes loading something is breaking where it begins to do the final install. When you sub to a mod it downloads immediately, but then the game has to decompress the files and put them in the right place. Have you verified your game install, manually delete both the mod folders and .mod files then unsub to the effected mod, resub, let it download the files completely, then start your game? If any mod still causes you issues after that you might need to get assistance on the unreal forums for Ark as that might be something engine related. Those guys might also recognize that error code and get you better information on how to fix it.

Finally got the mod to install and work! I deleted the files manually and verified the game afterwards and then re installed the mod (Like you said). Thanks for the help!
