The only thing you need is a copy of HL2 or atleast make sure to download the source sdk base for the basic textures but 90-95% of the textures are packed into the map already.

when ever i open the map, the camera algle for the video is off. its like up and to the right a but, Is there anyway to reset the camera angles? I have a screenshot if you want to see what the problem is. please help. Thanks

Yep thats seriously messed up, I will investigate and let you know. Hopefully recent gmod updates didnt break my map. I will go test now. Thanks for letting me know.

Yeah dude i tried last night to reset my map. I pretty much Unsubscribed, deleted all the files related to this on my computer (So it would be like installing it for the first time), resubscribed, opened up GMod (said it was exstracting so that was good), opened up the map, and went to the tv room. Still had that problem. It must be the map.

Sorry your still having trouble man, I tried to reproduce the problem every which way i could and couldnt get it to do that to me. I was playing around with the idea of just ripping out that animation and replacing it with the REAL tv show footage intro so if i can get that to work that will fix your problem (and also be really cool) in the meantime ill keep trying to reproduce the problem.

Hello, I think I might know what is causing that. It's done it with me on the original map and this updated version whenever I did this. I believe it's the resolution set for your game. For some reason, the resolution can mess up the camera's angle sometimes. Hope this helps.

Oh, Codename. The map looks better than ever but I would like to let you know that the top of the tower is missing. (The cone piece in the very top) I'm not sure if anyone has told you about it.

No one has actually, I'll open up google maps in 3d view and try to find what you are talking about. Thanks for letting me know about the resolution issue. I have focused 100% on getting the california version of this map done and haven't even thought about this florida version.
