Go to [Lua for Barotrauma Link] and install Lua for Barotrauma, created by Evil Factory.
This small mod enables Lua and CScript code compatibility with the game, allowing Lua- and CScript-based mods to be used.

Launch the game.

Open the Mods menu.

Enable Lua for Barotrauma, then click Apply once finished.

Click Host under the Multiplayer tab. You will see an option to choose a Server Executable.
Select Lua for Barotrauma - Dedicated Server, then start hosting the game.

Press the F3 key on your keyboard.
If you are using a laptop without dedicated F-keys, hold the Function (FN) key while pressing the key labeled F3 at the top of your keyboard.

Once the console menu opens, type the command:
install_cl_lua
and press Enter.

If entered correctly, you’ll see a notification prompting you to close and restart the game.
After restarting, Lua for Barotrauma will be successfully installed.

You can adjust additional Lua settings by clicking the Lua menu in the top-left corner of the screen.


After installing Lua for Barotrauma and restarting your game, open the Mods menu again.

Place Hunter’s Genetics - Base in the mods list, with Hunter’s Husk Job positioned directly beneath it.

Hunter’s Genetics is required for Hunter’s Husk Job to function properly.

Ensure that Hunter’s Genetics is listed above Hunter’s Husk Job, then click Apply.
Your mods should now be correctly configured.

If you are playing in singleplayer or using the Sub Editor, you can skip this step.

Otherwise, click Host and start the server using Lua for Barotrauma - Dedicated Server.

Once the server is running, your game and mod should be fully functional.
