same here, I would really appreciate even some hints on how to fix this.
I looked at the latest comments, and I saw some of them mentioning this, but with no response.

Its because of Mode configuration menu v5 that cause the crash, i don't know how to fix it that said

Ok I worked on this for a few hours and I got it to work. By doing this and that. Si Found out that after this downloaded there something called Vennom_LemmyProject I dont know where this came from but when I unchecked this one now this Mod works I will let you know how its running. I really dont know where this came from but maybe through this download. But it was throwing it off

So i found a fix, If you have any mod that change's the map in any way such as europe_Lemmyproject, Relm of thrones, etc You have to un sub from the mod and or delete those mods like tex said it was throwing off the mod

So I have the same issue. Tried on all version from .7 to all to newest. I tried on vanilla with req mods only. I haven't unsub all other mods I have some installed BUT UNCHECKED so the fix is to unsub all? there's like 10 of them so I wouldn't want to reinstall them later on xd

EDIT:
I removed all the mods (had an ss ofc), uninstalled the game, removed all the file, reinstalled and installed only this and worked. Dunno how but it works on 1.2.12

oh, okay, so i will also try to reinstall the game. I tried unsubbing everything except this mod (plus required), and run a file check by steam, and it didn't work. But since I have a very bad internet and not much time, i'll report later (maybe tomorrow even) if reinstalling the game helped. Thanks for everyone that tried to help, you guys are the best :D sorry if my english was bad, greetings from Poland
EDIT: Reinstall didn't help. I just resign from using this mod, as it clearly doesnt like me :)

reinstall AND remove all the files. Documents and steam folder files. Literally remove everything. unsubscribe and install again. Jak nie pomoże to dawaj znako, mi pomogło od razu xD

What were the results of the test? Did any mods change anything to cause the crash?
I had a similar problem but I didn't subscribe to this mod to appear in the first place, rather I had an archive of about 30 mods loaded before this one and then found this mod, installed it and ran it for the first time with no problems at all, and the archive loaded over and over again with no problems. But once again after a crash due to the troop preview model I can't use this mod anymore.
I'm just making a guess here, can't guarantee it's absolutely correct, this mod and ATC may have an unexpected and unspecified conflict. After my game crashed the settings or content of both mods may have changed in some way, and now neither of my mods are working properly.

So I built a settlement that has 4 villages and a fort with 3 villages. When I try to go around the river bridge into the mountains my game freezes. The mods I am using is the new marry anyone updated and fixed, more countries, kingdom command strategies, and Caladia at war, also wealthiest workshops mod. Playing on sandbox for fun. Do I do those fixes or is there an alternative? Playing on steam deck. I would love this mod if I can’t freeze.

I find my solution for this problem:
Delete file C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\logs\BannerlordPlayerSettlement.debug.log
Windows deny accses to this file from the game if this log already exist
