This caused some really strange issues where I had a dragon close to death after it got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up bad from mechanoids, I was tending to it in the field until the bleeding wasn't so bad that they'd die in 2 hours, bloodloss got up to 97%, it took so long they had started starving. Consioussness stat was capped at 10% from bloodloss but without the cap it was probably sitting at <20% (-45% from bloodloss, -5% from starvation, injuries did the rest). Now, after having tended to the bleeding injuries I wanted to rescue the dragon, problem is, your distant bond hediff lowers consiousness by 25%, combine this with that kicking in when you carry them and boom, the very moment the dragon was picked up for rescuing, they died. Consioussness got to <=0% because of the distant bond hediff. I had no way to feed them (colonists only feed after rescuing them) so I had to cheat to raise their food so they could heal enough for the -25% consioussness to not kill them. The distant bond hediff needs to either cap consiousness at 75% rather than lowering it by 25%, or just do something else entirely, or you need to fix the issue with the bond becoming distant the moment the dragon or bonded pawn is carried by another pawn.
Yeah that really isn't as intended, I'll see to get it fixed by the next update. Sorry about the issue.
