its the 1990's, the war has been over for a few years now and out of the 30,000 people who evacuated out of here only few returned after, leaving many homes in the mountains abandoned, many people pass through here but only ever sometimes stop for gas on their way up and over the mountain to parts unknown, the military has reclaimed their missiles and over time the silo has collapsed. the power station which only just reopened a few months ago only gives out a quarter of its power due to less people in the area. the area is popular to fishermen and hunters. this is a dark shadow of "fork" and its former booming glory. often forgotten on the maps because of the much more popular town down the coast "Nogla" (you can see in the skybox). maybe one day those people will return, maybe one day Fork will take on its former glory, but until then, this is Fork
I just came up with that on the spot hope u enjoyed it, and i came up with a random name for the skybox town, maybe one day the map will have an updated version (if source engine can handle it). where you can actually go to "Nogla" or skybox town, this is by far my favorite map and i hope something happens in the future, hopefully this story gives you a fun look on this map.
