1) Flashlights. In Halo Reach, the "acid mode" is somewhat workable. In Halo 3, theres only weak red light. That makes the darker parts of both games a lot less fun and way more tedious. The Reach one at least shows where the enemies are, but both... I think they should be reworked. Yeah, I can increase brightness, but that makes bright parts of the game look worse.
2) Many of the new weapons are, sadly, almost useless. In some of them, the loldumbrandom element should be lowered. That thing in Halo 3 thats in place of flamethrower comes to mind first. Gun that kills me if i shoot it is fun one time and then I never use it again. Shotgun variants in 3 seem to be bugged and dont work at all. For the sandbox to work and be fun, you need weapons that are not only funny, but also useable. For example, from all the variants of sniper rifle, only the fibonacci one in Reach seems to be usable at all. I am not able to hit anything with quad or octo sniper rifle even if i am standing right in its face. Many guns work only point blank, like pea shooter (its at least somewhat killy) or rocketed rocket launcher launcher, which is also one of the guns that will almost never hit what yore trying to. Also the granades. In Reach, the thruster ones are very hard to use and, well, its not much of a reward to just remove one enemy. In 3, theyre better, because they explode. But there plasma granade seems to fly off in random direction? Why? Its "funny", not funny.
3) There also seems to be a lot of things set to explode after a long timer just to troll with the players, I suppose? I seem to die most often to some random ♥♥♥♥ exploding after a firefight, when I am looting bodies for new guns to try. Again, fun one, two times, after it just tedious.
The reason why Cursed Halo:CE is great is because it gives the player a lot of tools to ♥♥♥♥ with the sandbox. It doesnt focus on trolling the player. For example:
Random granade/equipment: In your mod, you are throwing it under your legs. If it explodes, it kills you. There, you throw it under your enemies legs. If it explodes or not, its fun anyway and it doesnt ♥♥♥♥ the player over. You see what I mean?
Great work anyway, cheers
