Kinda unhelpful, but it dropped from a random enemy in the evil biome for me.

It dropped from a slime in the first 5 minutes of play for me, and another time it dropped 10 hours in, underground from a random mob.

Ok then. It seems like it's completely random, that's why I can't find a recipe or drop. Thank you guys!

I can't get it to work. Tried multiple weapons of all ranged types. It says its activated with the [UP] key, which looks like something thats not the default key and I would have manually assigned... except absolutely no keys for anything are set to UP, nor do I see any to assign for this piece of equipment?

It’s the key that lets you climb ropes. By default, it’s usually the W key.
