Why/How is it killing you? The alien planet doesn't have a breathable atmosphere. This means you have to pressurize the elevator. There are vent blocks for the elevator to do this with.

I think I clipped through the floor so fall damage.

Thousands of players are using this mod and you're the only person this has happened to. That likely means it's operator error. How fast did you have it set to go?

I didn't change the defaults. It seems to be working now 🤞🏻, I've removed and readded the mod and rebuilt the elevator. I do want it to work as very useful when it does. My base is heavily underground to shield it from aerial attacks so it's a bit of a pain trying to reach parts the usual way.
