because a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keep complaining about the mod "not working"

step 1. install halo 2 AND halo 2 multiplayer via steam
step 2. subscribe to this mod on the workshop
step 3. boot up mcc WITHOUT ANTI CHEAT
step 4. go to the campaign selection and select halo 2 and you will see halo 2 uncut

Hello, I am completely new to Steam and only downloaded it for this mod. Do i need to buy the MCC or Halo 2 Anniversary? or both? I can't find Halo 2 on its own. Is the multiplayer bit a different purchase? What's anticheat?
