Cannot recover item
I am breathing on a mission objective but for some reason I can't *complete* it. I can't open the box. I can't *hack* the box. All I can do is stare angrily at it while the mission timer ticks down until I lose the mission because the objective doesnt want to be completed.

Same thing happened to a VIP, I had to blow him up (nearly killing the VIP in the process) just to make the game recognise he existed and let me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ continue.

What gives?

Sounds like it may be a mod compatibility issue.
I have no such issue.

Considering that you have several different issues the most likely cause is indeed some mod imcompability.

Sorry, yeah I solved this weeks ago. Antique mod from the basegame days was the cause. Turns out a small outdated feature was completely destroying LWOTC. I grabbed an alternative and it worked fine since.
