Lmaooo, this is something we would've noticed before the 1.0 release anyways. If you like it, it should still be a bug within the mod until then.

This issue is caused by the same logic that handles breaking tiles normally with your pick. If you destroy a block supporting something - it breaks it, plain and simple.

However, because excavations happen very quickly, sometimes three times per tick, the item is told to drop up to 3 times. This is an issue with how we manage our logic, and would require a careful rework of timings.

We hope you understand that despite the severity - the complexity makes this issue low-priority.

I've also found out that it works on all kinds of funny blocks, like heart crystals for example. Hope to see this fixed soon because on god its broken.

It'll happen with anything that's more than two tiles wide, we're currently working on a fix - but it's not high priority for us at the moment. Sorry!

Was about to report the bug but thankfully someone already found it. Hope it gets fixed soon.

If u hold a key that you binded to mining and place block, chest etc. it duplicates them placing block and not consuming it. (i binded mine to mouse1 and got pretty confused at first)
