Affects Wave Beam and Heat Beam 1 too but its hard to capture them
It's mostly the impact particles
oh nah, i've seen that before. You just need to validate your files. your particles are corrupted.
Uninstalling the particle resource addon fixes it, I'll try validating with it installed and see if that fixes it still though
I'm like months late but I just confirmed that the particle resource addon does indeed break the particles, hope this is fixable
Not my problem that the SNPC resource pack overwrites existing source materials.

As for why they have no sounds? I have no idea. They don't depend on anything, all the sounds are in there and I never changed the sound.add for it.
