how to fix it (yo)
- in file explorer go to program files x86, steam, steamapps, workshop, content
- find whichever one has terraria mods inside (mine says 105600. YOURS may differ)
- find this mod (mine says 2443299736. this one may differ as well)
- open content
- open images
- make a new folder called "TownNPCs"
- copy "NPC_20.png" and paste it into "TownNPCs"
- rename "NPC_20" to "Dryad_Default"
- launch terraria
- enable the addon
- congrats, now stfu in the comments already

Like the "fix" doesn't seem to want to work for me, followed all the instructions but still wants to appear as default in-game

is this pack underneath another that might have changed the dryad sprite in your modlist thingy?

Well, Problem is the NPC_20 file is a PNG, and when putting into the townnpc's file one can see everything else being a .xnb file so I'm having difficulty in making the addon work properly
