How's their sense of taste work? I mean, taste for our species is best defined as like a combination of smell and touch (smell regarding the nose and touch regarding the tongue and that other forbidden thing). I mean Mollopods apparently don't even have tongues, so would that mean they don't taste either? That said, I just wanna be able to imagine what a Mollopod is thinking when they're eating human food.

No no, they have tongues! Their tongues are just more comparable to radulas in the sense that they're very rough and sharp.They still have tastebuds though. Their sense of taste is pretty comparable to that of a human's, but a bit more dull. That being said they're often drawn to food with stronger, more distinct flavors.

I immediately ended up sketching mine out after my pals and I downloaded them.

Since I drew in respiratory pores on the neck and actual lil' sensory tendril/barbels on the face versus a humanoid nose. I felt like that was fitting given how sluggy the rest of their bodies are?
