What exactly does UWD do? [All Features]

Ultimate Workshop Downloader:

is automatic;
uses GMod's default addon download system;
ignores unmounted addons;
doesn't check to send gamemodes beyond the current one;
caches addon scanning results:
- We don't rescan an addon until the gma updates or the cache is deleted;
- The cache file is "garrysmod/uwd/workshop_cache.txt";
- We've seen speed increases between 60% to 90% after using the cache;
- Legacy addons don't support automatic cache;
- You can dump resource results in "garrysmod/uwd" by running:
  - downloader_dump_legacy_cache 1
    downloader_dump_workshop_cache 1
Includes a panel to manually select addons:
- Allows the player to add missing resources due to rare scanner errors;
- Overrides the automatic selection with the manually selected addons;
- You can open the menu with this command:
  - downloader_menu
alerts about unused models in pointshop;
has extra support for FastDL and ServerDL, in which:
- We provide a tutorial on how to use the system correctly;
- All relevant files are also added automatically;
- Total download size is displayed;
- Approximate download time is calculated for ServerDL.
tracks the addon usage to provide better support:
