Hello everyone!

I just finished TNM the first time yesterday, and I must say it's just phenomenal. I'm sure I will beat it a second time with WC, but that's not why I write now.

I think I pretty much understood the game's story, it's a great sci-fi. And it made me wonder...What if it's a direct reflection on real life events? Did really GameSpy digested an old DX forum and made the Planet format? Causing mayor migration problems, popularity losses, population degradation and moderation drama? Or it's rather just the continuation of the symbolisms TNM follows with poetical hights for making an actual antagonist force for the game?
