I have the same issue all of a sudden, no brush, just optuons.

Had the same issue. Came here to unsub. Shall try above fix first.

I deleted the above mentioned file but unfortunately the brush function was not repaired.

I really like this mod, BUT... i pretty much have to unsub and resub after every game start because it just stops working. (NO I DONT RELOAD THE GAME, i restart every time)

i tried that. didnt work at all

I know BonBonB has been having the same issue on his different series. I personally haven't had any issues but have watched him several times pull up the tool and nothing happens when he tries to paint.

i just played a map for 2 hours or so and it just stoped working.
i deleted the xml file and it didnt help.
the interface shows up as normal but i cant plant trees.
but if i start a new map it works again, without resubbing.

Edit: i resubbed and i "saved" a brush setting by naming it and i picked some trees for it, and it worked after a restart.
i have the feeling you have to save atleast one brush in order for the mod to work after a restart,
i could be wrong.

i keep testing, will see if it will still works tomorrow.

Edit 2: i added some new mods and this one stoped working until resubbed.
(im just trying to figure out why this is happening)

Hi everyone, I just experienced the above mentioned behavior when I installed the "build themes" mod (https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=466158459). When I disable the build themes mod everything works perfectly again. So apparently we have a mod incompatibility here.

Can you maybe have a look into it so I could use both mods at the same time?

I have had it stop working with no other mods installed and I have work with building themes all the time. Did you try just unsubbing and resubbing while not in game with built themes enabled?
