Why does this require DLC?
What do you need the DLC to use this workshop item? Is there something the DLC adds that requires it to be used with it, or is it for no reason?

I may be wrong but I believe it is because the steam workshop was only added in Afterbirth+
Therefore all workshop mods require Afterbirth+ to work. It's not just this mod, its the entire Binding of Isaac workshop that requires a DLC.

I don't think that's true. There are plenty of workshop items that don't require DLC, just by looking on the front page.

Sadly enough it does require Afterbirth + to use mods, I know this because I didn't get Afterbirth + until I had the game for a while. If there are mods that don't say DLC required it's because the mod creator didn't bother stating that it takes DLC.

Thank you for the clarification, you two. I was confused when I saw some mods said that they required DLC, and others didn't.

That is incorrect, Steam Workshop support was added in Afterbirth+, and it is required to use any mods you download off of the Steam Workshop.
